Montcyclingtours is pleased to offer our French cycling experience for July 09. Ride the magnificent French countryside, enjoy fabulous food and wine and indulge in all things French. This year’s tour will coincide with the great race and we will start in the Pyrenees, continue to the stunning Languedoc – Roussillon region and Provence, up into the Alpes and finish on the beautiful lake Annecy. All our hotels and guesthouses that we stay in are extremely comfortable and in fantastic locations. We will see the Tour riders on a few occasions but for the majority of the time you will be riding the magnificent country side and ascending famous mountain cols with only a small number of like minded individuals, away from the thousands of people that religiously follow the biggest bike race in the world. I can best describe it as, imagine playing a game of cricket with 10 of your friends on the MCG with no one there, or playing a game of tennis with your best friend on the centre court at Wimbledon with an empty grandstand. The experience is far more profound and memorable which is what we intend to make it for you !
