Montcyclingtours is a boutique company specializing in escorting small groups of cycling enthusiasts through some of the most spectacular countrysides in Europe.  The focus of the tours is not all about cycling but just as importantly, experiencing and indulging in the wonderful culture, cuisine and scenery of either France, Italy, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Your host, Peter Montgomery or Monty, is in his element when he is organising a social event or in front of a crowd. His enthusiasm and energy is infectious and he is the perfect host for your ultimate cycling adventure. Monty’s been involved in cycling for over 25 years and lived in The Netherlands during the 80’s and speaks Dutch as his second language. Monty has a thorough knowledge of his adopted home country and it’s neighbor Belgium. France is another country close to his heart having first visited this magnificent place in 1985.

Where necessary, Monty sources local guides from each country to best experience what each area has to offer. All rides will be fully escorted, the majority of which will be on quiet country roads away from heavy traffic. Mont Cycling Tours understands the importance of quality accommodation and restaurants, that is why all the hotels that we stay in and the restaurants that we dine in have been selected from our previous experience. It is not uncommon to return home from your journey with us carrying a few extra kilograms which is, in our opinion, the sign of a fantastic holiday.
